    Elisa Cabbai

Elisa Cabbai, born the 12th of June in Treviso. I moved to Bolzano to study art and contemporary media at the university. During my studies I had the opportunity to experiment with different media, from installation to performance (and many others). I became particularly interested in video and cinema. I graduated doing a short movie as my thesis (directed, shot and edited by me). After this experience, I felt even more fascinated and inspired by cinema and I wanted to learn more. I did an internship in a film commission in Bolzano before finally applying for ZeLIG film school. I am now specializing in editing.

DIRECTOR'S NOTE

This film tells the story of the wounds of love that run through my family's history, but it's also about the bond with one's roots and with the land, especially the one where I come from (Piedmont, Italy). It's an intimate journey that faces the endless cycles of nature, before which we vanish.
