May everything burn
2025 - 29' – Italian (Available subtitles: Italian, German, English)
Mimì struggles as a trade unionist alongside dozens of workers after a mass lay-off. In this battle, she wonders whether her role as a militant has created spaces for change or whether it has been futile.
DIRECTOR'S NOTE
After almost 15 years of political activity with the desire to change the “social grammar” to which we are accustomed, I asked myself whether it still makes sense to fight today. So to get away from any decadent attitude and try to answer these questions, I wanted to tell the story of Mimì's daily struggle to contribute to another culture that is opposed to the bourgeois one and not to see oneself “above the fray”.
