Exploring a mysterious and forgotten film genre: Children's Cinema.
DIRECTOR'S NOTE
Films shape children's perception of beauty, gender roles, violence, and success. They identify with and want to emulate the characters they see, especially those they perceive as beautiful and successful, and they imitate them in their games and stories. Our bond with cinema begins before we even understand it — not as teenagers analyzing old cult classics, but as children, filming a horror movie at age eight with mom’s phone.
